This massive convention hotel is peppered with name-tagged conventioneers, but if you like big, it's got your name on it too: 790 rooms, including 57 suites, some with sea views. Its two restaurants include Emeril's, where hot chef Emeril Lagassee flaunts his nouveau New Orleans cuisine. There's a gigantic fitness centre and spa, an oceanfront swimming pool and 20 butler-serviced cabanas. Attached to the property is the streamline Moderne St Moritz Hotel, a 1939 gem by architect Roy France.
