Hidden on a backstreet near the Lincoln Road mall, this low-key, boutique-ish hotel boasts moderate prices and moderate charm. In a 1939 deco building, it still has period touches such as terrazzo floors, chrome lamps and wrought-iron railings, mixed with quirky modern pieces. Rooms are soft in feel with willow green walls, blond wood accents and earth-toned carpets. Suites come with kitchens; a café by the small pool serves breakfast and lunch.
