At first glance, this is a typical outpost of the Best Western chain, located in sedate North Bay Village near North Beach. But one thing sets this place apart from its sisters hotels: the fabled sunset view from Shuckers bar downstairs. Relaxed locals even arrive by boat at this popular joint, home of beach volleyball, fresh seafood, beer, and, at times, live reggae. Some rooms have kitchenettes; the hotel also offers free transfers to the airport and sea port.
