Miami now boasts the second-largest performing arts complex in the country after the Lincoln Center in New York. And some of the city's finest cultural institutions - the Miami City Ballet, the Florida Grand Opera, the New World Symphony - finally have a home; the Cleveland Orchestra also has an annual residency here. As far as theatre goes, touring musicals - Avenue Q, Spamalot and Slava's Snowshow - are already a staple.
With big plans for the rengeneration of Downtown - the new Museum Park will be nearby - the Arsht Center may soon come into its own and consolidate Miami's place on the cultural map, as well as the tourist one.

Hi I have been to the centre quite a few times for performances and have not been disapointed yes I like it there so ok parking can slow you down but if you allow time its ok.I have been pleased and well informed by the promotions organised by the the center ie the Coconut Grove event in Febuary and their information booth in which the staff were very nice and pleasant making sure my wife and I were aware of shows like Wicked,Mamma Mia,one guy there was a real happy sort and I loved the Lady in the witches outfit, and the recently I went to the Cuban nostalgia event in Tamiami Park and was so impressed by the Cuban themes so wonderful and there amongst all this was the Adrienne Arsht booth so well presented and gently asking me to try another show once more great stuff.
