A whacking great Poseidon guards the goldfish pond in front of this fun Parco Sempione freebie, which was reopened in 2006. The Aquarium's strong reliance on a handful of river species, most notably trout, becomes amusing after the sixth reconstruction of a River Po or Lake Como underwater scene. The 25 newly installed tanks are large and bright, however, and the collection of bristled Adriatic sturgeon and barracuda-like pike are gloriously ugly.
