Designed by American artist Kris Ruhs, this courtyard café is part of Carla Sozzani's multifunctional arts complex, which includes a hotel, shop and restaurant. A favourite with fashion folk and celebrities (Giorgio Armani is said to be a regular, and the whole place was sealed off when Madonna paid a visit), it occupies an old casa a ringhiera (working-class apartment building).
