Our top pick for sampling Milanese food, located in a 19th-century weigh station. It has friendly service, a cosy ambiance and some of the finest funghi porcini pastain the city; the generous costoletta alla Milanese (breaded veal) barely fits onto its serving plate. Any deviations from tradition will be strongly discouraged, including the sacrilegious squeezing of lemon juice on to your cutlet.

excessive prices for what it is! very disappointing first night in Milan with this restaurant! waiters not welcoming at all, stale bread, oily appetizers, nothing exceptionnal, we don't understand its reputation
A beautiful restaurant, with a sublime period atmosphere, relaxed but impeccable service, and the very best 'cucina Milanese'. I suggest lunch........but some might prefer dinner. Take your friends..... or your family. Sublime.
