Thalia Kids' Book Club: A Tribute to Walter Dean Myers

Award-winning children's author and native New Yorker Walter Dean Myers who passed away in 2014 is remembered findly by fellow writers including Jacqueline Woodson, Sharon Creech, Avi, Jason Reynolds, Neela Vaswani and Sharifa Rhodes-Pitts. The guests will read selections from his works, ranging from lyrical picture books and novels to poetry and short stories, speaking to the importance of diversity and the black experience. Ages 6 and up.
