3rd Annual Kiddies Caribbean Fiesta

The daylong festivities in honor of Caribbean Heritage Month offers families a bansuri flute performance by Sundar Das (noon–1pm); a culinary workshop with chef Vanessa Celestine, tastings included (2:30–3:30pm; registration required at 718-735-4400, ext 321); Rhythm of Steel, a steel pan drum workshop (3:30–4:30pm, ages 5 and up); and, as the day's finale, a Jump-Up parade in which kids and their parents wind their way through the museum singing songs and showing off their festive carnival wear.
