Automatic Studios Birthday Parties

Aspiring filmmakers and producers get a crash course in moviemaking at this fully equipped studio party. Industry professionals guide young filmmakers on set as they practice a prewritten script (the project could be a commercial, music video or scene re-created from a favorite movie), then film and edit the epic story. The program gives everyone a chance to get in on the process and to use high-tech equipment including cameras, lights, a green screen and props. Bring your own food, drinks and sweet to feed the hungry creatives, then settle in for a screening of the finished product in the studio. Ages 8–14.
