At the helm of his tight, swinging Kontraband, Russian-born violist-composer Lev "Ljova" Zhurbin employs skills honed alongside Yo-Yo Ma, the Kronos Quartet and Jay-Z in his arrangements and original compositions, evoking rustic dances and cinematic vistas by turns. All ages.
