Grab a ticket—Thomas the Tank Engine is making a pitstop, and you're not going to want to miss the fun.

If you're contemplating family vacation ideas, consider taking the crew to Pennsylvania's Kennywood Park for the opening of "Thomas Town," an $8.5 million attraction that is bringing the historic Olde Kennywood Railroad site back to life. This time, however, the area will undergo a taste of Sodor with Thomas, Cranky’s Drop Tower, Harold’s Helicopters, Firefighting Flynn and The Convoy, according to CBS. Let's face it: We will follow Thomas wherever he may go, so it's time to start getting the luggage out of storage. Plus, with a new experience to look forward to, who can blame us for planning ahead?

"Thomas Town is going to feature four new rides, plus a re-themed train ride, all based on the Thomas and Friends brand. It’s really one of the most beloved children’s characters in the world," Kennywood spokesperson Nick Paradise said in a statement, CBS further reports.

The fun gets underway July 27. If you cannot possibly wait that look for Thomas fun, make sure you check out Thomas & Friends, which is making a track change from its long-standing home on PBS and heading to Nick Jr. this March.

“The brand is undergoing a huge evolution to ensure that it remains relevant and competitive for today’s audiences,” Kate Schlomann, vice president and global brand general manager of Thomas & Friends, said according to Variety. “We are taking Thomas off Sodor for the first time in our episodic series, evolving our storytelling to be more inclusive, meaningful and entertaining.”

Before its NYC departure, Thomas & Friends: Explore the Rails will be on view at the Liberty Science Center until May. All aboard the Thomas train! He certainly has a lot of destinations on his route.
