Make the most of your city

7 free things to do with kids this week: September 3–6

Make the most of summertime fun before little ones head back to the classroom with free events around the city, like cool open houses and a new exhibit.

This week, public school kids can spend their last week of freedom before hitting the books at awesome, no-cost end-of-summer events, like revisiting the mammoth Madison Square Park installation "Red, Yellow and Blue" before it closes Sunday, or trying their hands at textile arts at an open house. Scroll through our slide show to see more free things to do this week.
