The sun is out, flower buds are blooming and one of our favorite signs of spring opens tomorrow: the Ample Hills outpost in Brooklyn Bridge Park! Starting Saturday, April 12, the Brooklyn ice cream institution reopens its seasonal kiosk at Pier 5, where it will operate on weekends until late May, after which it'll be serving sweet treats every day, all summer long.

Post-Memorial Day, Ample Hills will also open two ice cream carts elsewhere in the park: one at Pier 1 and the other at perennial kid-fave Jane's Carousel.
There's even more great ice cream–related news (which is, of course, the best kind of news!): Ample Hills is giving away their sweet secrets with a new cookbook launching Tuesday, April 15. Fans of the creamery can get a first look at the release party on Wednesday, April 16 from 7 to 9pm at powerHouse Arena.
We'll keep you updated on the construction of the second Ample Hills factory in Gowanus, which includes a scoop shop, roof deck and even birthday parties!
