Annual membership $600. A new addition to the play space biz, this 6,000-square foot tot hot spot is equal parts gym, arcade and café. Children ages three and up can run around the three-story play area, which features a triple slide, mazes and tunnels. Babies and toddlers get their own space featuring playhouses and double padded carpet. Video games are available to older kids, and four complimentary game tokens are given to every entrant. While the children are occupied, parents can grab a snack in the café. Ages 3 months to 10 years.

To be eligible for open play, child must be registered for one of the venue's classes. $125 for 10 play passes, $225 for 20 play passes. Every week, LIC Kids offers a menu of classes that will work out your kid's brain and brawn. Programs include gymnastics, martial arts, dance, yoga, as well as chess, music, movement-based theatre and after-school tutoring programs. The gym is also accessible for daily open play sessions. A hair cutting station for tots is also available. Ages newborn to 10 years.
