Time Out says

Ring in the Year of the Sheep at this festival curated by the Brooklyn Japanese American Family Association. Families can participate in craft projects, learn about calligraphy, play New Year's games and enjoy live dance performances (from Biwanko, an all-kid taiko troupe, and Ryukaji, an Okinawan sanshin group, among others) and karate demonstrations. Snack on tasty Japanese delights like fried chicken, vegetarian sushi, rice balls and fresh mochi, and enter a raffle to win all kinds of exciting prizes, including jewelry, electronics and museum memberships.
