L.E.S. Pickle Day

Orchard Street between Delancey and Houston Sts. Lower East Side outfits look back on the past with over 20 traditional pushcarts (and their modern offspring, food trucks) pedaling briny delights of all shapes and sizes, from the immigration-era Guss’ Pickles to spicy varieties from Rick's Picks. The Astro-turfed occasion also celebrates the newer names in the neighb, with over thirty fashion and food vendors and all-day DJ entertainment, face painting and bocce ball. Ages 5 and up.
