Prospect Park Carousel

While events for Easter, Passover and spring break may have taken place in March this year, April is gearing up to be full of fun outdoor events for families, including free festivals, children's carnivals, stargazing workshops and new concert series. It's also time to welcome back Field Station: Dinosaurs—the popular theme park in New Jersey reopens for the season on April 5. Plus, with warmer weather on the way, April is the perfect time to plan afternoon outings to some of our favorite family attractions like Coney Island and the Bronx Zoo. Click on the image above to download and print out our April 2013 calendar, then start filling in your family's own date planner with these awesome events and activities.
