August 2013 calendar: Free rides at the Prospect Park Carousel

The summer may feel like it's flying by, but there's still plenty of time left to enjoy the season! Our August 2013 calendar is full of tons of free things to do with kids (the annual Summer Streets kicks off on the first Saturday of the month), new children's theater shows (FringeJR is back with three great offerings) and lots of no-cost outdoor movies (E.T. plays at Bryant Park, Hook in Central Park). How is your family spending the month of August? Use the hashtag #Augustplans on Twitter and let us know!
