Sun 12 Happy Mother’s Day! Celebrate Mom with a garden party at the New York Botanical Garden.  

Mon 13 Be amazed by Orly Genger’s colorful art installation Red, Yellow and Blue at Madison Square Park.

Tue 14 Plan a trip to Tribeca's Pier 25 playground, which just reopened after being damaged by Hurricane Sandy.

Fri 17 Watch Tada bring Ezra Jack Keats's stories come to life in an original musical.

Mon 20 Marvel at over 200 colorful live frogs from around the world at AMNH.

Tue 21 Step inside a tree house made from BBG trees felled by Hurricane Sandy.

Wed 22 Take part in a Spanish sing-along at DiMenna Children's History Museum.

Thu 23 Explore nature in Prospect Park with an Audubon Center naturalist.

Fri 24 Epic, a new animated tale about a teen who has to save the world, hits theaters today  

Sat 25 Lovers of marine life, rejoice! The New York Aquarium reopens to the public.

Sun 26 Head to Governors Island via a free ferry for opening weekend festivities.  

Mon 27 Happy Memorial Day! Commemorate our nation’s heroes at events across the city.

Tue 28 Last chance: The popular Butterfly Conservancy at AMNH closes today.

Wed 29 Visit Twinkle, a new play space in Williamsburg that's modeled after children's museums.

Thu 30 Walk through Patrick Martinez's installation, an ethereal, touchable tunnel, at CMA.

Fri 31 See original Google logos designed by kids around the country at AMNH’s “Doodle 4 Google.”
