The Wiggles "Taking Off!" World Tour

Along with vibrant foliage, October ushers in an array of fun family activities. You’ll, of course, have plenty of opportunities to show-off your little ghoul’s Halloween garb: Partake in a costume walk at Fall Kids Fest, watch a flotilla of jack-o-lanterns in Central Park, hit up Boo at the Zoo in the Bronx, or catch a spooky screening at St. John the Divine.

RECOMMENDED: Things to do in New York City this fall with kids

And then there are the outings that are all treat—no tricks. Kid-friendly shows premiere at the New Victory Theater and Skirball Center. Museum exhibits play to the tastes of sophisticated youngsters, with new collections at the American Folk Art Museum, MoMA PS1, and National Museum of the American Indian. What are your family’s can’t-miss events this month?
