Try to keep the little ones from trampling the flowers as they scurry through the historic manse's gardens and grounds scouting for eggs. (Be sure to bring your own basket!) Green Meadows Farm Easter Egg Hunt

Families can celebrate spring with some outdoor fun at this annual Easter event, organized by a Queens farm and petting zoo. For six dollars, little ones can hunt for colored eggs, explore the parakeet house, play in the tiny tractors corn box (like a sandbox with corn kernels), whiz down the giant hay wagon slide and operate a real bulldozer. And because no egg hunt would be complete without him, the Easter Bunny will make an appearance. All ages.

New York City Fire Museum Easter Egg Hunt

The egg hunt is on! The New York City Fire Museum is hiding colorful easter eggs all around the apparatus floor of the Engine 30 firehouse for your kiddos to find, and it's gonna be awesome. Before the treasure hunt, little ones can decorate paper bags to put their treasures in and meet the FDNY's fire safety mascot, Hot Dog. He'll be on site for photo ops with families. Ticket price includes admission to the museum. Ages 12 and under.
