Spring Egg Hunt at Urban Meadow
This Brooklyn waterfront park will be in full bloom when families show up on Easter Day for an egg hunt. Sun Apr 8 10am--noon. Mother Cabrini Playground, The Urban Meadow. Free. All ages.

A Closer Look for Kids
Youngsters tour the museum's permanent collection and temporary exhibits. This month's topic, "Before and After: Story in Art," will encourage families to discuss what story the artist is trying to convey. Tickets are distributed at 10am at the reception desk in the Cullman Education and Research Building (4 W 54th St between Fifth and Sixth Aves) on a first-come, first-served basis, and include museum and program admission. Sun Apr 8 10:20--11:30am. Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Free. Ages 5 to 10.

Tours for Fours
Parents and their four-year-olds can tour MoMA's galleries; this month they'll focus on the theme "Mix and Match: Color" and take a special look at artworks with different color schemes. Tickets are distributed at 10am at the reception desk in the Cullman Education and Research Building (4 W 54th St between Fifth and Sixth Aves) on a first-come, first-served basis. Sun Apr 8 10:20--11:15am. Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Free. Age 4 (younger siblings are allowed to tag along).

Especially For Kids Daily Screenings
Families are invited to the museum's screening room to view a collection of Native American animated shorts, such as "Neil Discovers the Moon" and "How the Chipmunk Got Its Stripes." After, spend some time exploring the museum's exhibits. Sun Apr 8 at 10:30, 11:45am. National Museum of the American Indian. Free. All ages.

Spring Eggstravaganza
Lots of places in the city offer opportunities to pose with the Easter Bunny, but only at the Queens Zoo can kids interact with real live Flemish giant rabbits—Ruby, Flip and Olivia will be on hand for petting and picture taking. Sun Apr 8 11am--4pm. Queens Zoo. Free. All ages.

Easter Fun Fest at Trinity Church
Little ones under six run through the churchyard searching for candy-filled plastic eggs, while older children (ages six and up) take part in a more challenging scavenger hunt. Everybody can snuggle up to the Easter Bunny for a photo op, craft Easter hats and enjoy a performance by the Bari Koral Family Rock Band. Sun Apr 8 12:30--2:30pm. Trinity Church Wall Street. Free. All ages.

Easter at Bohemian Hall
This Czech beer garden isn't usually a destination for families, but in honor of Easter, the Queens hangout will host an egg hunt as well as egg painting, live entertainment and a kid-friendly brunch menu of traditional Czech food. Although admission is complimentary, food and drink come at a price (natch). Sun Apr 8 1--5pm. Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden. Free. All ages.

Race Around the Farmyard
Burn off energy in Prospect Park during an afternoon of kooky activities. Potato-sack races, stilt walking and other old-fashioned games will all be part of the fun. Sun Apr 8 2:30--3:30pm. . Free. All ages.
