Cool School Holiday
In honor of spring break, kids' admission is waived at the Staten Island Children's Museum, where they can climb on boats in the outdoor Sea of Boats play area or create their own buzzing bee in "Bugs and Other Insects." Fri Apr 13 10am--5pm. Staten Island Children's Museum. Free. All ages.

Kids' Week in Staten Island
Kids learn about nature and explore the 222-acre Blue Heron Park, a sanctuary filled with wetland ponds, swamps and streams. Blue Heron Nature Center. Free. Ages 5 and up.

Especially for Kids Daily Screenings
Families are invited to the museum's screening room to view a collection of Native American animated shorts, such as "Neil Discovers the Moon" and "How the Chipmunk Got Its Stripes." After, they can spend some time exploring the museum's exhibits. Fri Apr 13 at 10:30, 11:45am. National Museum of the American Indian. Free. All ages.
