Take advantage of the musem’s free admission after 4pm on Fridays by attending evening rooftop concerts and classes. Every week, hear hip-hop tunes spun by local teen star Abbrielle Johnson, a.k.a. DJ Kakez, plus get time to play with outrageously big blocks. Older kiddos can get a closer look at artifacts from the museum's natural history and cultural collections (5:30–6pm). On August 2, catch a performance and workshop with Iris Wilson, one of the original dancers in the Broadway production, FELA! Come back August 16 for Afro-Haitian Dance & Drums with Julio Jean. Check the website for an updated schedule of events. All ages.
