Madison Square Park's fall installation consists of three 40-ft-tall bronze sculptures, molded into Italian artist Giuseppe Penone's signature manipulation of trees. Interested in the relationship between the forces of gravity and the attraction of light, Penone suspends large river stones atop the tree branches, occupying a space that is neither land nor air. All ages.
