Greenlight Young Readers Book Group

Reading can be social: The Greenlight Young Readers Book Group meets once per month to discuss 'tween lit. Each location of the bookshop discusses a different book. Right now, the Fort Greene group is reading Pashmina, a graphic novel with a touch of magical realism (686 Fulton St), while the Prospect Lefferts Garden is reading The Girl Who Drank the Moon, a Newbery Medal-winning book about a girl who gained magic powers after she was feed moonlight when she was young (632 Flatbush Ave). The Fort Greene group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month, the Prospect Lefferts Garden group the fourth Wednesday. Confusing? Don't worry—best bet is to check with the store's book groups or calendar for the latest on what to read and when to meet.  Ages 9 to 12.
