New Year's Eve events for kids in New York City

New Year's Eve at CMOM

For adults, New Year's Eve events are practically a no-brainer; add kids to the equation and the situation gets a little trickier. Fortunately, there are plenty of ways for your crew to say farewell to 2012 that involve neither pajamas nor Ryan Seacrest. If your kids can stay up past their usual bedtime, consider counting down to midnight aboard a cruise, at a family-friendly party or by catching a dazzling fireworks display. If staying up late would throw off your little ones' sleep patterns, we've also found plenty of New Year's Eve events to ring in 2013 well before the ball starts to drop. Happy New Year!
