Portrait Power Family Day

Kids can participate in a range of artistic events during this fun family day at the Jewish Museum. Choose from three different projects—Wearable Art, Costume Photo Op and Power Pendants—during the drop-in art workshop (going on all day), bop along to a performance from Heidi Swedberg and the Sukey Jump Band (12:30 and 2:30pm), make a watercolor portrait (1–3pm), take a tour of the exhibit Helena Rubenstein: Beauty is Power (1:15pm, 2:15pm and 3:15pm) and have your face transformed into a piece of modern art inspired by Picasso or Matisse (12:30-3:30pm). Ages 3 and up.
