Now that all the bluster of the holidays is over, it's time to get bookish once again with powerHouse Arena's Sunday storytimes. This year, though, you won't be heading to Dumbo for star-studded readings but to its new satellite bookshop, the ultra cozy, family-friendly powerHouse on 8th—which opened in November—instead. Author Lauren Thompson and illustrator Stephen Savage will stop by to read Polar Bear Morning this Sunday, January 13; staffer Ashley McNelis reads from some powerHouse favorites on January 20; and a week later, on January 27, author Melissa Guion reads from her new book, Baby Penguins Everywhere! Check back with us for future events, which we'll be posting as we get them.

powerHouse Sunday Story Times take place on select Sundays at 11:30am at powerHouse on 8th. Free. Ages 3 to 7.
