If you're looking for a great way to say "I love you" on Valentine's Day, your family may want to read a digital version of artist Eric Telchin's book "See a Heart, Share a Heart" at wegivebooks.org. Back in 2009, Telchin noticed hearts appearing everywhere—first in a puddle of melted ice cream and then, in everything from a patch of grass to a tree trunk. His book showcases tons of the amazing (and colorful!) hearts he's photographed and pairs them with sayings like, "Catch a heart," "Find a heart," and "Hold a heart." (We guarantee your crew will be spotting hearts all over the place soon, too.) For each digital copy that is read, We Give Books, an initiatve created by the Pearson Foundation with the help of Penguin Books, will donate a physical copy of the book to a literacy organization that works with children (book donations have gone to Hurricane Sandy victims, libraries in Africa, the Harlem Children's Zone and more). Take some time to read through Telchin's book and other titles on the site—you'll not only be instilling a love of reading in your children, but for little ones all over the world.
