Sail Pioneer!

Time Out says

Get a taste of the life aquatic aboard the Pioneer, which sets sail from Pier 16 through October. Built in 1885, the ship was originally used to haul sand from the Delaware Bay to an iron foundry in Pennsylvania, but these days its cargo consists mainly of maritime enthusiasts. We recommend packing a lunch and enjoying a picnic during the ship's two-hour trip around New York Harbor. Visit the South Street Seaport Museum's website to view the full schedule and purchase tickets. All ages.
