Thanksgiving Fun at Alley Pond

Kids can gear up for Thanksgiving Day with some festive fun at the Alley Pond Environmental Center. From 10:30 to noon, youngsters can shop in the APEC supermarket and make a bowl of vegetable soup to enjoy, then lend a hand assembling baskets for families in need. ($29, ages 7–12). From 1:30 to 3pm, little ones can jump in on a storytime reading about Tobias Turkey, a visit with the resident animals, snacks, crafts and a nature walk ($18, ages 5–6). Pre-register online.
