"The Fence" Opening and Tour

Catch the opening of Brooklyn Bridge Park's summer installation: A 1,000-ft-long wall of photography featuring works by 40 artists around the world attempting to capture the essence of "community" (think muscular members of a Ukrainian outdoor gym or a tight-knit group of French Canadian retirees living in a Florida trailer park). Take a free public tour at 6:30pm (meet near Jane's Carousel), followed by Ample Hills ice cream and a performance by Howard Fishman and his band. Ages 5 and up.
