Urban Farm Exploration Days

On Saturdays and Sundays through mid-October, Randalls Island Park’s urban farm is open to the public for tours of the fruit and vegetable gardens, rice paddies and chickens. The amiable farmers can answer your child’s questions about how things grow, and may even inspire your family to start a window garden in your apartment. After the farm, head to Randalls Island’s nearby Scylla Playground to find slides, swings and spray showers (bring your water shoes)! Wards Meadow Loop, Randalls Island. All ages.
