    Looking for your claim to fame? Steal the spotlight at one of Coney Island’s most treasured events. Are you a mini magician with some tricks up your sleeve? Can you sing your heart out or perform unique dance moves? Then the 5th Annual Coney Island Talent Show on July 26 could be the place for you! Take your superstar kiddos to Coney Island to showcase their talents onstage or join the crowd and watch performances by clever kids with extraordinary talents that are sure to entertain everyone. The event, put on by Thirsty Girl, Alliance for Coney Island, and Deno's Wonder Wheel, will be hosted by The World Famous *BOB*. Head to the boardwalk between 10th and 12th Streets from 4pm until 8pm to enjoy the show.     You, the kids and your furry pet pals can ship over to Staten Island on July 12 to compete in Pride's most stylish fashion show. Does your pooch have what it takes? Staten Island LGBT Community Center’s PrideFest is one of the most exciting events of the month for families, and it’s kicking off on Friday, July 12 with plenty of activities for all ages. The showstopper? PrideFest is hosting its first-ever Doggie Drag Show!On July 12 from 9am to 5pm, Staten Island PrideFest 2014 will take place on North Meadow at Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden, featuring a 5K Fun Run/Walk (for an added fee of $15 for kids 5–12, $35 for adults and $30 for walkers).
