New play space opens in Washington Heights

    Wed Dec 16

Longtime Washington Heights resident and mom to three boys ages 16, 14 and 2, Stacy King often thought about opening a play space in her area. Decorate T-shirts and hair accessories with Little Bird

    Wed Dec 16

Over the summer, Time Out Kids worked with the gals over at Little Bird —a New York City-based personal shopping service for the under-18 set—to help three local kids get their wardrobes ready for fall. This weekend, we're partnering with the stylists again for a fun holiday event. On Sunday, December 20, kids ages eight to 18 can use rhinestones, tulle, bows and more to make unique T-shirts and accessories. The craft session takes place at Earnest Sewn on Washington Street at 4pm, and Alice's Tea Cup will provide tea and treats. Click here to purchase tickets.
