Can I still see _______ on Broadway?
Wed Nov 14 2007
It's been four days and the Broadway stagehands are still on strike. But the real question is, "How does this affect you?" Well let's see, the Great White Way is dark with exception of eight shows (see the complete list here), and of those eight shows, only 3.5 are appropriate for kids. Say hello to Mary Poppins, Xanadu, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Young Frankenstein. But that's four shows, you say? Well, you're right, but Frankenstein is really only good for kids older than 10.
If you're not thinking any of those options are so supercalifragilisticexpealidocious, keep in mind all off-Broadway shows are still open, as are many other kid-friendly performances. We've got a list of some of the best theater events in the city, just for you.
