Little ladies’ man Alec Greven was inspired to write his book How to Talk to Girls when he was just 8-years-old, after observing the interaction between the sexes on his grade-school playground. The tome started as a writing assignment but was soon picked up by a publisher. Now the pint-sized schmoozer's hit the big time, and deservedly so. After watching this cutie on the Today show, you may want to pick up a few copies of his book as stocking stuffers for the clueless men in your life.
- Water woes
We all know how important hydration is for kids (and adults too, for that matter), but one mom in Florida went a bit overboard in the H2O department. She'd been watering down her five-month-old's formula in order to make it last longer and save a few bucks during the economic downturn. Ultimately her infant had to be rushed to the hospital and was put on a ventilator due to water intoxication. Read the full report here.
- Bratz attack
A federal judge has prohibited MGA Entertainment from making or selling Bratz dolls citing copyright infringement on Mattel’s Barbie franchise. In addition, Mattel was awarded $100 million in the settlement. Bratz has brought in $778 million since launching in 2001. Looks like it’s back to Barbie basics…

Our favorite frog has paired up with LCD Soundsystem to cover their hit song “New York, I Love You, but You’re Bringing Me Down,” in which the green amphibian airs his grievances about the cruel city of Gotham. The muppet’s musings are pretty sweet and the song is still as catchy as it was originally.
