Caro Niederer, "Paintings"

Niederer is a Swiss artist who works in diverse mediums, but her first New York solo show is devoted entirely to paintings. The canvases on view re-create visual fragments, often inspired by postcards and snapshots, focusing on the emotion of the subject.
