"I wanted to shoot things that are visual fixtures of my daily life—the Stations of the Cross of my life, so to speak. I shot Levain Bakery on my street and their cookies. I shot the Ansonia because it's close to my neighborhood. It's just one of those architectural fixtures of my life that makes me happy, it's such a pretty building. There's a bunch of stupid store-exterior shots: Renaissance Bicycles—I've been going there a lot because I'm trying to become a healthier biker. Nancy's Wines—I get deliveries from there constantly because I drink a lot more wine than I should!"
