Gert & Uwe Tobias, “Drawings and Scuptures”

Ethnic Germans born in Romania, Gert & Uwe Tobias are twin brothers who have been working collaboratively across multiple mediums since the early 2000s. Their work is influenced by Eastern European folk art and often probes the dark psychology and tales of horror associated with the region. Their latest show follows in a similar vein with paintings on black paper and ceramic sculptures.
