Julien's latest videos might be described as impressionistic meditations on global capitalism and its relationship to art. One work is essentially a film of a panel of theorists discussing the issue, while the other is a sort of dreamy travelogue bouncing between London, Dubai and Reykjavik, and featuring, among its performers, the actor James Franco—who is himself, arguably, a manifestation of globalism's omnipresence.
