James Siena, “New Sculpture”

Better known for modestly scaled abstractions whose repeating patterns evoke a gently lysergic vibe, Siena pushes into sculpture with a series of latticelike structures—some sprawling, others carefully contained—made out of a variety of materials including bamboo, bronze and redwood.
