Lothar Hempel, "People Like You Find It Easy"

Cool-looking young people are the main subjects of the German artist's latest body of work, in which images have been silkscreened on aluminum panels. Drawings resembling dashed-off fashion sketches are also included in this exhibition, which extols sprezzatura, an Italian term for "studied carelessness," as an artistic quality.
