Time Out says

Visitors to the Flatiron Building over the winter may have noticed 12 snowmen parked outside on the plaza fronting. As it turns out, they weren't made of snow but rather snow-white marble—the handiwork of Swiss artist Peter Regli. Titled Snow Monster, the ensemble was part of the artist's ongoing series, “Reality Hacking,” in which he creates “public interventions”—pieces that are related to their surroundings but also somehow outside of them. These have included an installation at a Swiss casino depicting William Tell playing the slots, and a bell, recovered from a ship lost off the Cape of Good Hope, mounted on pole in the middle of a South African desert. Photographs of some of these projects are presented in this show, along with a new suite of marble sculptures based on totemic and folkloric figures.
