"I got an adrenaline rush shooting [the old ladies]. I had to use real stealth. The funny thing is, I was trying to be discreet and stalking my prey—and there I am on 57th Street and everybody has a camera and they're all shooting away and I'm trying not to be seen! I'll always remember the moment I saw that old lady eating ice cream. You see so many things every day and because you don't photograph them, that's it—the memory is just gone. But I'll always remember the rush I felt when I saw her. I felt like a hunter."
