"The Parade; Nathalie Djurberg with Music by Hans Berg" Exhibition View
New Museum of Contemporary Art, Lower East Side Friday May 18 2012 11:00 - 18:00
This Swedish artist, whose cartoonish figurative sculptures and installations plumb the depths of abject desires, turns her attention to the avian, presenting a freestanding array of 80 fantastical-nightmarish winged creatures made of clay, wire and painted canvas, accompanied by five animated videos along similar lines. Not just for the birds.
