Thomas Struth

Much like his colleague in contemporary German photography Andreas Gursky, Thomas Struth has made it his mission to capture the sweeping societal landscape of late capitalism. In recent years, his cinematic studies have hopped from temples of culture (museums) to centers of technology (Cape Canaveral). In his latest photos, redoubts of all-engrossing entertainment such as theme parks and IMAX theaters are also given the patented Struth treatment.
