Tom Fruin, "Color Study"

If you've ever noticed the Mondrian-like water tower adorning DUMBO's skyline, you have a passing acquaintance with the work of Brooklyn artist Tom Fruin. Taking his efforts indoors, Fruin once again references the De Stijl master with illuminated pieces made from scraps of colored Plexiglas and other refuse gleaned from sign-making shops in Chinatown.
